OPL561A [TT Electronics]

The OPL5xx series consists of reflective optical sensors that integrate a photodiode, amplifier, voltage regulator, Schmitt trigger, and NPN output transistor on a single silicon chip. OPL560 chips also include an on-chip voltage regulator. All devices feature a Photologic® chip encapsulated in a molded plastic side-looking package with an integral lens (recessed for OPL535 and OPL536), providing enhanced optical coupling and mechanical protection. The Schmitt trigger's hysteresis characteristics offer high immunity to noise. Components exhibit stable performance over supply voltages from 4.5V to 16V and a wide range of irradiance levels. OPL550 and OPL551 devices have TTL/LSTTL compatible logic level outputs that can drive up to 8 TTL loads without additional circuitry, with data rates up to 250 kBaud. OPL560 series devices can drive up to 10 TTL loads.
