The UM980 is a high-performance multi-frequency, multi-constellation RTK GNSS positioning module developed by Unicore Communications. It is designed for centimeter-level precision navigation and positioning, targeting applications such as precision agriculture, surveying, UAVs, autonomous driving, robotics, and high-accuracy mapping systems.
The module is based on Unicore’s NebulasIV GNSS SoC, which integrates RF front-end, baseband processing, and RTK high-precision algorithms in a single chip architecture. It supports all major global GNSS constellations and multiple frequency bands (L1/L2/L5/E5/E6), enabling fast, stable, and highly accurate positioning even in complex environments.
According to Unicore official documentation, the UM980 supports GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, NavIC, and SBAS, and integrates 1408-channel tracking, anti-jamming technology, and advanced RTK engine with instant initialization capability.
