The kit includes a Stratix V GX FPGA development board, HSMC loopback board, and necessary cables and power supplies. It enables development and testing of high-speed transceiver I/Os (10 Gbps+), PCIe 3.0 designs, memory subsystems (SyncFlash, DDR3, QDRII+), SDI designs, embedded designs with Nios II processor, network designs with Triple Speed Ethernet and 10G/40G Ethernet MAC, optical networking with QSFP, and more. The kit also provides power measurement capabilities and control of programmable clock oscillators via a GUI. The software includes Quartus II Development Kit Edition (DKE) with Qsys and MegaCore IP Library.
