The Atmel® ATA5756/ATA5757 is a fully integrated PLL transmitter IC for simple, low-cost RF miniature transmitters. It features a single-ended output, high output power (6dBm) at 8.1mA (315MHz) and 8.5mA (433MHz) typical values, and uses a 13MHz crystal with divide by 24 (ATA5756) or 32 (ATA5757) blocks. It supports ASK/FSK modulation with an internal FSK switch, up to 20kBaud Manchester and 40kBaud NRZ coding. The device has power-down and power-up modes to adjust current consumption, an ENABLE input for 3-wire bus systems, and a CLK output that activates when the crystal current amplitude reaches 35% to 80% of its final value (typically 0.6ms). It operates from 2.0V to 3.6V in a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, with 4kV HBM ESD protection, and comes in a small TSSOP10 package. It is well suited for Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPM) and Passive Entry Go applications.
