The Atmel ATA6621/22/24/26 are system basis chips (SBCs) designed for LIN-bus systems, featuring an integrated LIN transceiver, adjustable window watchdog, and low-drop voltage regulator. The regulator provides 5V/85mA (3.3V/85mA for ATA6622) and can be boosted using an external NPN transistor. These chips support low-speed data communication in vehicles, with Sleep and Silent modes for low current consumption. Improved slope control ensures secure data communication up to 20Kbaud. The ATA6622 and ATA6624 are pin- and function-compatible except for regulator output voltage. The ATA6626 lacks the TXD time-out timer, making it suitable for low data rates. The ATA6621 includes additional features like a TEMP pin and PTRIG input.
