The ISL6294A is a fully integrated charger for single-cell Li-ion/polymer batteries with integrated pass element and current sensor. It accepts input voltages up to 28V and features programmable charge current and end-of-charge current, thermal foldback protection, and trickle charge for deeply discharged batteries. The device requires no external blocking diode, has low component count and cost, and provides 1% voltage accuracy. It includes power presence and charge indication pins and draws less than 1µA leakage current from the battery when no input power is attached or when disabled.
