The OP123 and OP124 are 935 nm high intensity gallium arsenide (GaAs) infrared emitting diodes in a miniature hermetically sealed pill package with enhanced temperature range and high power output. The OP223 and OP224 are 890 nm gallium aluminum arsenide (GaAlAs) infrared emitting diodes in a hermetically sealed pill package with enhanced temperature range and narrow irradiance pattern for high on-axis intensity and excellent coupling efficiency. They offer higher power output than GaAs at equivalent drive currents and are spectrally matched to silicon's peak response. The small package size allows high device density mounting. These LEDs are mechanically and spectrally matched to the OP300, OP600, and OP640 series.
