The OP290 series offers choice of narrow or wide irradiance pattern, multiple power ranges, and packages (T-1¾, TO-18, TO-46). These LEDs provide higher power output than GaAs equivalents. The series includes multiple part numbers with different electrical parameters (A, B, C, etc.) and pulse current ratings. Some models (OP294, OP299) are optimized for low-current battery applications. All devices are spectrally and mechanically matched to OP593 and OP598 series phototransistors.
