HV2825/D8C [Microchip]

The HV2825 is one member of 64-channel high-voltage analog switch family with no bleed resistor on either side of the switch. The device has low power dissipation, low harmonic distortion and low charge injection. The device uses a single +5V bias supply, however all channels can pass up to ±100V pulsed signals. 

The HV2825 has 2.9A peak switch-on current, typical 6Ω ON resistance and 50 MHz small-signal bandwidth. The device also has dual 66MHz Serial-to-Parallel-Interface (SPI) to control two sets of 32 switches ON/OFF states independently. The two SPI pins can be configurated in daisy-chain mode to reduce the control logic from an FPGA. The use of the CLR pin can also turn 64 switches all ON or all OFF at once.

The HV2825 are available in a 169-ball, 11 mm x 11 mm X1.5mm LFBGA package which gives 1.89mm^2/ch density.

The device is intended for use in applications requiring high voltage switching by low voltage controls, such as ultrasound imaging, nondestructive testing, sonar, piezoelectric transducer drivers and printers.
