PFS723EG [Power Integrations]

HiperPFS devices integrate a CCM boost PFC controller, gate driver, and high-voltage MOSFET in a single package. They eliminate external current sense resistors, reduce power losses, and use variable-frequency control to maximize efficiency across the load range. Features include spread-spectrum EMI reduction, comprehensive protection (UV, OV, OTP, brown-in/out, cycle-by-cycle current limit), and power limiting for overload protection. The devices achieve >95% efficiency from 10% load to full load at low line input and >96% at high line input, with no-load consumption <130 mW at 230 VAC. They support up to 1 kW peak output power in compact packages, reducing component count and simplifying thermal management.
