OP296C [TT Electronics]

The OP290 Series are gallium aluminum arsenide infrared LEDs available in T-1¾, TO-18, or TO-46 packages. They offer choice of narrow or wide irradiance pattern, power ranges, and package types. The LEDs have wavelengths centered at 890 nm (or 850/875 nm for OP298 variants) and provide higher power output than GaAs LEDs at equivalent currents. The series includes multiple electrical parameter options (A, B, C, AA, AB, AC, AD) with different forward current specifications. Features include silver-copper lead frame for excellent thermal characteristics, reversed polarity options, and spectral/mechanical matching to OP593 and OP598 series phototransistors.
