PFS728EG [Power Integrations]

HiperPFS integrates a CCM boost PFC controller, gate driver, and high-voltage MOSFET in a single package. It eliminates external current sense resistors, reduces power losses, and uses variable-frequency control to maximize efficiency and minimize EMI. Features include comprehensive protection (UV, OV, OTP, brown-in/out, current limit), high efficiency (>95% from 10% load to full load), low no-load consumption (<130 mW at 230 VAC), and spread-spectrum EMI reduction. The device simplifies design, reduces component count, and supports up to 1 kW peak output power in a compact package.
